Oceans run deep

by Aaron Michael

there's a space between, filled
to overflowing, so when
i wish i knew how you were
all i have to do is feel for turbulance.
and though we're not close,
i'm close enough that you know you
will never drown.

and it is said that oceans divide
yet all it took was
touching the surface,
however small
to create a wave
that seems insignifigant to most,
but to you reads like a novel.

feeling travels further through water.
this unspoken communication proves it.
there is comfort in the ocean between us.

and oceans run deep.

The imagery is subtle yet stunning, Aaron. WaffleWoman sent me to your library and I owe her a big "Thank you".

High Tides through Low Tides - this poem is a symphonic flow of how friendship endures each others flows. A very heart/mind transforming understanding of what truly matters in the heart of all closenesses. Magnificent! Good tidings to both of you! —Jill

This says things I always knew in a different way, and that's very refreshing.
