Enjoy the Silence

As the CreatorÂ’s kiss gave life to the universe

our world was quiet and clean.

The only sounds were the gentle wind,

a sigh from a distant cloud.

When only dew littered the land (with sparkling beads of light),

I heard you call my name.

a sigh from a distant cloud. When only dew littered the land ....so quiet and serene. i know this didn't take place anywhere near Santa Monica Blvd! how many of us find value in silence? denial's louder than the steamer at starbucks! i find more than serenity here, I find hope, especially in that last line - I heard you call my name...i don't always pick one, but today you are POTD, my friend! Wow! this has tremendous momentum, Karl. It speaks well beyond the words themselves, from title to forever, inception to infinity. My first impression was: the whisper that roared. pe4ce...

Yes, when you walked into the space of time, slowing down the world. The external caused the inner silence when you heard those words.

Yes, in SILENCE alone can we HEAR the whispers of LIFE. Beautiful.
