Moving On by Joan SerratelliI closed the door
I never looked back
no reason to
I hated that house
The movers brought
all the things
that now are waiting
to be unpacked
It might take me a week
a month or even a year
but this house is my new home
and I thank G-d for that
My body is tired
as is my mind
there are so many boxes'
it boggles my mind
I don't care
how long it takes
to unpack and rearrange
I will never look back
I will make this house
my home 04/07/2006 Author's Note: I moved on Monday and I've started my brand new and hopefully better life.

Posted by Rula Shin on 04/11/06 at 02:49 PM "Happiness" is a term so often and carelessly thrown around, while Happiness remains so elusive. Where we are is where happiness SHOULD BE, assumed until realized. Definitely good luck on your move and I'm sure you will be 'happy' THERE, and also good luck in discovering happiness HERE. HERE is where the treasure is hidden, right beneath our noses. Thank you for this reminder that I needed so very much :-) |
