Christ Made a Choice

by Matthew Taylor

He always had the option,
was ever in control,
but His father's will was His destiny
it was already written.
All the while, every moment He knew,
He would pay the price for me,
for You.
At any time He could have not to,
Love kept the promise.
All authority was from above,
every act, covered with love.
the greatest sacrifice of all time,
the ultimate choice,
He obeyed His Father's voice.
In His pure and blameless mind,
the thoughts...
He would rather go to hell for us,

than go to heaven without us!
Love held Him to that cross ,nothing else
nails did nothing except pierce the wood.

Author's Note: we make big decisions in our lives, or so we might want to think, this choice was unimaginable, we have no idea about true stress, the next time you feel stressed , take a trip in your mind to Gethsemane.
