Wide-eyed and terrified (From a child's perspective) by Aaron Michaellife is bound to what i know.
so if knowledge makes me powerful,
i feel like a child in a world of giants.
wide-eyed and terrified,
as i'm looking for parents in a disneyland crowd.
somewhere there is hope for me, and
they lie in familiarity,
comfort, and home,
they lie in familiarity.
somewhere there is hope for me, and
as i'm looking for parents in a disneyland crowd,
wide-eyed, and terrified,
i feel like a child in a world of giants.
so if knowledge makes me powerful,
life is bound to what i know. 03/27/2006 Posted on 03/27/2006 Copyright © 2025 Aaron Michael

| Posted by Eli Skipp on 03/27/06 at 05:43 PM I really do adore this poem, with the roundabout thinking of a child written into the format. Your word choice is fabulous! |

| Posted by Elizabeth Jill on 04/03/06 at 03:13 AM Incredible. You are amazing. This took me completely into the child's perspective. Brilliantly delivered and haunting. Wow. |
