I Know.... by Joan SerratelliI know that
whatever will be, will be
I know that
I cannot change fate
sometimes you've just have to
leave it in their hands
I know that life isn't perfect
and sometimes downright unfair,
but just for once
I'd like things to work out
or is that too much to ask
I ask not for myself
but for someone I love
for things to work out
She needs a happy ending,
she's suffered far too much
would it ruin
someone's Master Plan
if things were to go right
just this once? 03/26/2006 Author's Note: I wrote this for someone I love.

Posted by Ashok Sharda on 03/27/06 at 02:28 AM Well, when one concedes helplessness one is no more helpless and from here one can ACT. One becomes an ACTIVE FORCE that from being a passive, one of the key factor which can cause a desired effect. |
Posted by Rula Shin on 03/27/06 at 02:38 PM Our questions fly to the wind and the wind returns them to us, unanswered. As Ashok said, the acceptance of this helplessness is the only starting point we have. Otherwise we keeping looking to the wind for answers that will never come, and curse the Gods. Maybe the answer wasn't there, but with us all along, imbedded within the question. I understand your sentiment and empathize. |
