As to why I have not called?
Is there any real reason
Do you feel alone, rejected, appalled?
Our lives do not cross
There's just not that much in common.
I've left you at a complete loss
Perhaps you should begin again.
Maybe I should have just said
Or perhaps simply stated
All of the thoughts that were in my head
