My cat plays tag
I think it's rather sad.
He thinks he's a dog
Acts like one too!

My cat runs around the house
Never chasing a mouse.
Not that I have any,
But it's the thought that counts.

My cat plays, all of the days
With his toys and chews
On my books.
A friend says he's just bored.

I think he does quite well
To have such a nice place
All his own,
And no dog to share his bone!
