Posted by Julie Adams on 03/22/06 at 02:10 PM loved this little twister of a poem into the self...love how the whirling feel repeats near the end, like a tornado tightening at the bottom...being centered, I thought you might consider putting 'presence' on its own line, since it is so emphasized (just a thought)...lovely little read tho, thanks for sharing...all the best, jewels |
Posted by Ashok Sharda on 03/26/06 at 12:38 PM Man is a four dimensional being, three in space and one in time. Though, time cannot be separated from space but for our mind which experiences them fractured. Space in one go, simultaneously and time in bits, moving from an unknown future towards what we know as past. The slit, through which we experience, we know as present. But then, our very BEING too gets bifurcated in space and time by moving in the dead past and projecting it onto future. And this is what causes disunity of our being.
AMNESS is what creates this inner unity but only when we succeed in experiencing this space time continuum from fraction to fraction, in continuity. Sustaining the PRESENCE
From fraction to fraction’. Aware of every thing, missing nothing, within or without. And when we attain this state of BEING, all the thoughts which tends to carry us away in our dead past or into the projections of the past, ‘whirls away’. What prevails is our AMNESS in the oneness of this space time continuum.
Your minimal seems a perfect definition of what AMNESS is. Brilliant.
