Syzygy by Joe CramerA phenomenon, called a syzygy
Happens twice a month,
Lining up the Earth, moon and sun
Oh the fun that has just begun!
But this month, a perigee
Will coincide with the moon
At the closest point to the earth,
Now, bulging in the middle, at noon!
Usually only once in four years
Affecting the folklores and tides
Tugging at our hearts, our fears
And sometimes, even our lives.
Often enough even a catastrophe
Or even some intimidation
Coincidences, fluctuation in tidal pools,
Much to our own intrepidation. 10/07/2002 Posted on 03/20/2006 Copyright © 2025 Joe Cramer
