Unsolved Mystery

by Joe Cramer

I looked as far as one could see
To see exactly what I could see.
But all that was there for me
Were blank letters, a mystery.

You see, I was on the wrong floor
(Excuse me if I am such a bore).
No longer is it such a chore.
I think I know what's in store.

Happy am I for love to look
In each and every cranny and nook.
For a brief smile, my heart shook.
Your laughter was all it took.

I looked to see,
What I could see.
My mind did flee,
An unsolved mystery.
