King David

by Matthew Taylor

He killed a giant with just a sling and a stone,
cryed out to God when he was alone,
He was fearless, not tearless, for repentance was often.
a man after God's Own heart, it is written,
even after adutery, murder and greed,
His sins were confessed and covered..
the great psalmist, and warrior,
gave to God all his glory
yeah though he walked through the valley
of the shadow of death, he feared no evil,
for God was with him,
we should fear not, for He Who said He would
never leave or foresake us,
has not! and will not..
when we tremble and our God we denieth,
remember David when he slayed Goliath.
