Jack Kerouac was a jazz poet
Blending such a spontaneous prosody
Of what could be best considered
Original, yet classical literature.
(I liked some 242 choruses best!)
Such a tempestuous sweeping
Of the English language.
What it must have felt like
To be considered the father
Of the Beat Generation.
