I am waiting for someone
I wanted to shout out loud.
And boy, you should see her,
Apart from the maddening crowd.
So I sat there, watching the door
For her arrival, with patience
And all the aplomb that I could implore.
I saw you and smiled
Knowing all the while
The time we had spent
Was well worth everything.
