A very fine sense of balance here. A memorable gem. Can be "seen" in different ways, both humurously and seriously so. The "remains" as a noun is originally and primarily suggested, and the "wake" mortuary... though with dark humor...but there is a tinge of waking up here... both the everyday...as to whether and when one wakes, and the psychological (in an enlightenment sense) waking of realization... seeing (maybe into the poem?). And see how it leaves open the opportunity for a comment longer than either the title or the poem!
