My macaronic verse was nothing more
Than a nonsensical attempt at frivolity.
A jocular notion better translated by Moliere.
Going nowhere, going everywhere.
Sans peur et sans reproache,
Kind of like the way I feel
On this day. May I say, carpe diem?
Or better yet, as I muse laconic
Totus mundus agit histrionem.
