Sweet Tooth

by Joe Cramer

I have such an eclectic sweet tooth
That daily waxes and wanes,
Depending upon the cycles of the moon.
Sometimes this eye of heaven
Can be so hot, and so often it is not.

A pudding, a cookie, a cake or ice cream
All fall within the perview of this dalliance
That manifests itself in far too many calories.
My eclectic tooth gives me no choice
As it comes and goes, daily, of course.
