In A Woman by Joe CramerIn a woman
The touch of the small of your back
Calls me, beckons, entices.
I watch, I wait.
Wanting to be with a woman
Whose smile lights up the room
When she sees my entrance.
Just to be near, to hold you dear.
In a woman
I watch for glistening of sweat
Above your soft, silky lips,
Quivering, hovering
Waiting for me
To brush yourss with mine,
Kissing you once more.
Caressing your soft skin.
In a woman
I wait for the time
To wrap my candlelit arms tightly
About you, drawing you into me.
Enveloping, holding you breathless
Crushed against the expanse of my chest,
Inhaling that sweet fragrance
That is you.
In this woman, my muse
All that I want
Is inscribed on the pages
Of my heart. 05/07/2001 Posted on 03/12/2006 Copyright © 2025 Joe Cramer
