It took a long time for me to get over you
I had invested much, no longer now.
Just to be with you, breathe in your essence.
I cry out to you, a sweet soft fragrance.
So many long nights away, missing you
I long for you, once again in my arms.
Holding you, what more could I want, or do?
Breathing in all of you, succumbing charms.
My life is empty and wasting away
Why did you hold me near, only to leave?
I long to be near you for just one day,
My heart hurts so much, now I only grieve.
I have not been able to let you go
Better now at not letting my feelings show.
