Occassional Onomatopeia
by Joe CramerYou speak an English
That I don't understand
Or even pretend to.
You say words
That I do not know,
Can't even fathom.
Not that I care
When words are meaningless.
Your language leaves me
Lost and misunderstood
Attempting to pen the words
That hold no meaning
To me, or anyone.
You speak an English
Full of euphemisms,
Metaphors and simile.
Occassional onomatopeia
And verbose colloquialisms
That are best archaic.
I wish that I understood
The words that you have said
But they hold no meaning
To me, or anyone for that matter.
It was an entire lifestyle
To which I was unaware.
