...thanks, Sweetness...
by Julie Adamswithin moments she had me,
enchanted
motherly sweetness drizzled over me
like an orange, bursting light
through laughter, chit-chat, and heartache
her love lifted my spirits
with subtle, divine graciousness
as her soul leapt bounds beyond the stars
where big wishes are kept, waiting
for us all
