doorways by Bradd Howardin the silence of your movement
i got lost in the motion of stillness
and yearned for the weight of you.
my hunger was the only thing keeping me going
toward the sound of you inside of me
and the roar of anticipation waiting underneath fingertips
too timid to touch
you see love is a spectator sport
and I can't watch
as you move to leave
over and over again
I remember that doors swing both ways. 03/08/2006 Author's Note: a collaboration with Marji Maldonado

Posted by Peter Humphreys on 03/12/06 at 12:30 PM The second verse is indeed excellent and the last line too. Doors do indeed swing both ways, both ways ... |
