Oh, those Boston Boys!

Six soxers with caps,
backwards, scratching
at their sides and laughing
too loudly at lame beggars
lolling their tongues
about long-gone wars
and rolling their knuckles
over each other, old men,
wide and white, who twitch
under flickering lights
at Kenmore Station.
