Transient by Julie Adamswe are transient, people
we who find ourselves
in one place or another
always envisioning--remote, exotic, new
our global generation
hooked on the all access pass
but we are missing the connection
some stability can ensure
are we running to or from
the problems we face at home
or wherever we used to feel safe
can we escape and arrive
can we hope to realize
we are all one
no matter where we go
no matter where weÂ’re from 02/10/2006 Posted on 02/10/2006 Copyright © 2024 Julie Adams

Posted by Elizabeth Jill on 02/11/06 at 02:57 PM we ARE missing the connection...and more often than not lately, I wonder if *hope* is becoming just too much of a s-t-r-e-t-c-h of belief to hold hands with anymore...I hope not.
I hope in hope. Depthful writing. —Jill |
