Time

by Charles E Minshall

Time is a fleeting thing,
It passes in in the wink of an eye,
It's yet to be, it's yesterday,
And eons long gone by.
Time is the pendulam of life,
Swinging back then forth again.
But I have more back than forth,
Much to my chagrin.
