1. A Change of Menu

Serve the roast pork, Charles

I feel in the need for something more

Than pasta tonight

And your mistress has drunken all

The wine

That I would normally serve

With the salad and lasagna.

2. Old Spice

She wore a skirt

Knowing my weakness well

I wore Old Spice

Knowing hers

3. Request for Consideration

Be kind, dear heart:

I am not in the mood

For jests tonight

Or the practical joke

That is your life

Or for that matter,

The melodrama

That is mine

Three separate snapshots into your poetic mind with just enough to pique our curiosity. Very stylish stuff, Ken.
