12 Loose Screw Haiku\Senryu by David HillWind and world whoosh past!
A bird-like climb, dive, and bank.
I soar on my bike.
Nightcrawler grounded.
Collective male shudder.
When Bobbitt made news.
(I am very proud of that one)
Instant sunburst flash.
Flesh draped bones of the living.
Hiroshima screamed.
Crispy crunch, then ooze.
Useless exoskeleton!
Now stuck on my sole.
Thin twitchy motion,
Silverfish serpentine run,
Gives me the willies.
They stare and they stare.
But comprehend so little.
The field's full of cows.
Brook trout scans and waits.
Cream mayfly rides the current.
Brook trout slurps him in.
Rusted and crumbling,
The blue sun bleached paint wipes off,
Far from the showroom.
Expressing my angst.
"I want to be sedated,"
Joey Ramone wails.
October birds swarm.
The ominous blackened sky.
Foretell of Winter.
You puff and you cough.
A seed has burned through your shirt.
Don't Bogart that joint!
Blue tunnel of light.
Unconditional love thing.
Please come for me now.
