Waitress by Richard VinceWatching the condensation dripping
Down the side of my glass
My mind was everywhere
But I couldn't find it
Then I looked up...
And there she was
A vision in black, white and blonde
That purposeful walk...
Rolled up sleeves...
I was transfixed
Captured by the aura of shy confidence
As she carried the trays to and fro
And I sat and drank
Then I drained the last drops
And knew I had to go
I had to leave her behind
In this world of tea and cakes
And I knew I wanted to stay
And watch forever...
