What no Words Can Say

by James Zealy

Slender fingers
Tendrils of skilled excellence
Grasp the slender mirror
Feeling every imperfection before
Its reflected to the caring eye

Eyes focused on their tactile mission
Teeth and gums rescued by skilled practice
Of the rapid precise movements
Gives back what age and lack of care took

His tool at rest and a concerned smile
Relaxes the anxious patient
The hands touch with gentle firmness
And Speak what no words can say

A trip to the dentist is practically a universal displeasure. Never would I have associated it with the comforable words you offer. Nice work.
