Loving the Father

by Adrian Calhoun

No greater love have I,
than the love of God.
I am no better a person,
than when walking in His grace.

Though life may rise up,
storms and foes raging against me,
I can stand on the solid rock.
Because I know,
Jesus Christ will deliver me,
these persecutions I will endure.

I will bear my crosses
with strength, courage, and wisdom,
from thee, Almighty God.

When it's over,
they may lay my body down,
but my soul shall rise above.
On that glorious day,
I shall go to God in Heaven
and say, thank you Lord!
