Sly and sleek you are.
A dusty shadow creeping
along and beside the walls.

Tip-toe on padded feet
past locations stuffed full
of comfy kitten couches.

Settle down for the night
on your metalic, warm and sweet
heating vent.

Author's Note: We've got this floor vent right beside the computer. And at nights in the winter like this my cat will come over and say hello and then settle himself down onto the vent looking so gracefull and comfortable I just want to take a picture. Sadly, the camera had no batteries.
