Radio Beijing (The Voice Of Freedom Series)

by Jersey D Gibson

Grass fields and skyscrapers,
the proliterate work without feeling.
Gather the farmers and miners,
the leaders rule all without feeling.

The Big Red One marches on,
the Long Walk over tears.
The Big Red One marches on,
the hard road over bones.

One child allowed per family,
drowning daughters in a well.
Illiterate children in sweat shops,
another collapsed mine to fill in.

The Big Red One marches on,
shock troops rob you blind.
The Big Red One marches on,
blitzkriging all your sons.

If you dare speak your peace,
just remember Tiamenan Square.
Backward country moving forward,
killing for every technological advance.

Fill the orders for rubber doggie chew toys,
and all the electronic components, too.
But if you want true democracy,
Radio Beijing will sooth your soul.

The Party is right, the Party is fair,
stickers for your car; "Keep Tibet Enslaved".
Funnel money for yon mongrel hordes,
status quo with an AK.

The Big Red One marches on,
feet stamping over lives.
The Big Red One marches on,
breaking the backs of their own.

Thumb your nose at the entire world,
people usually pay for that arrogance.
If you can't do something, overdo it,
never mind all the toes you've stepped on.

The Big Red One marches on,
suffocating our country's soul.
The Big Red One marches on,
destroying every individuality.

If you dare speak your peace,
just remember Tiamenan Square.
Backward country moving forward,
dying for every technological advance.

Fill the orders for rubber doggie chew toys,
and all the electronic components, too.
But if you want true democracy,
Radio Beijing will sooth your soul.
