Sending a letter I never meant to write

by Danielle Ernst

There's nothing more that I can say-
I love you
Plain and simple
short and sweet

and I won't waste our time
with promises of the moon or stars
or cover you with roses without any thorns
everyone is meant to bleed sometimes

and I won't walk to the ends of the earth
for you-
I will walk there with you
I’d never tell you how I’d love
to shower you with fragrant petals
fresh picked from God's own personal garden
or tell you I’d stop the world from spinning
just for one more look from you

I’m just a girl
who wants to make a boy happy
and while I can't give you
words that praise your every aspect
I can say what I know you really want to hear
plain and simple
short and sweet-
I love you.

Let me be the first to say, Welcome to Pathetic =)

Very enjoyable. Like your line breaks, and the title is a good twist on what's usually, the writing of a letter with no intent to send it. Well done, and welcome.
