pressure built
vision bent
the mundane routine cracks
crumbles in a vacuum

I try to shout out
to give voice
but I wear rags
the sound is muffled

my rage is a flat board
isolation has me twisted
slivers break away as
the strain cracks

knarled and crippled
i shuffle about
escape is elusive
and pressure builds
