How long have you been at this?
At least six Autumns, I gather, and
I’ve noticed a gait on you now -
don’t stay off the leg; I said a slight limp
and you do have dark circles under your
eyes but don’t go taking more naps like
a dog that paces in the same circle
before he lies down. Stand up and be awake
but put bangles and jangles on - make-up,
definitely - why don’t you sun yourself up,
get rid of all this ornamental darkness?
