My hand moves against the grain by Ava Blu
I could never write how I was taught
never became accustomed to normal structure
I write my name over and over
cursive and not
trying to turn the j a certain way
and end the a how its supposed to
stress the hump on each n stroking just a little harder
(never looks like anyone elses)
always
m
o
v i
n g
never in a straight line
(Im like that)
(m o v i n g) never on the same path
digress, progress, transgress
all at once
without the proper definitions
Ill stop
g o
bumpintoanotherword
compass always pointing North
(it isnt about you/ it isnt about her)
always bringing it up
I can write it down
not think twice
because I am always mooooooooooooooooooooovvvving
different path tomorrow
I write against today
bumpingintowords
from yesterday.
