"Beyond the Stars"

by Max Phineas

Moonbeams tremble,
The stars assemble
A celestial meeting in the midnight sky.

Planets align;
Intelligent design?
A universal challenge of the single mind's eye.

But lightyears away
The answer will stay
In a realm whose caverns do brightly burn

Until one day they see
That the meaning of "free"
Is not simply to preach, but to learn.
