Hot Chinese Buffets by Amanda BullingtonDays like today
We go to hot Chinese buffets
Just to sit there and stare
'Til the waiters bring our trays
And while you're looking at me
I can see it in your eyes
It's no surprise
That your emotionless face is a guise
To hide the love you have for me
(the way I'm looking at you)
What can we do?
This time our love will see it through
'Til we're sitting on the floor
Flushed smiles, bare faces
And suddenly the waiters come in
With a grin
Although we have disgraced them
By making love on the floor
('til we had nothing
covering our faces)
No empty, no-good,
Self-protecting
Stares anymore. 12/17/2005 Author's Note: Began as a song. Er...enjoy?
