Within the Peach Pale Flesh by Kim BennettMoonlight was orange from behind the clouds
Snow danced in the mist and froze the ground
Silence vowed, as Autumn in a white shroud,
Acknowledges death of Summer now drowned.
Within the peach pale flesh I sit unaware
Between the falling mist I disappear
As the faint light's embrace begins to tear
Realizations of the world fall with my tears.
My "Peace on Earth" shattered by an ivory sea.
Know truths of the mind that your hearts deny
The war between Heaven and Reality
Bleeds the sky with a sword annuling lies.
Within the peach pale flesh I sat unaware
Then Paradise fell, swallowed by ashen spheres. 12/18/2005

and willing to call Greek Gods, etc. nonsense,
while an athiest takes it one step further and is skeptical of all religions. |
