Will It Be Worth The Trip

by Sahar Rahim

It's like a million harp strings being plucked
A vibration fills the air
Fills my soul
I just don't know where to go

The moon never seemed to shine that bright
Cold winter night
Wrap yourself up in layers of things
Snuggle up close watch the fire burn out

The crackle and pop seeps into the corners
Mingle with deep breaths
You drove a million miles
To see this show

Flip the radio on
It'll play our song
We'll ease into this romance
Dance all night long

Cause the moon never seemed to shine that bright
Cold winter nights
Wrap yourself up in layers of things
Snuggle close watch the fire burn out

The crackle and pop seeps into the corners
Mingling with deep breaths
You drove a million miles
To see this show
Let's make it worth the trip
