As I water the walls by Tota LongmireThe tears fall and I can't sleep.
This lucid happiness an illusion.
If I don't reach out, don't touch
I can't be left hanging.
So I offer you this petal free rose,
As plea for tolerance
Left wondering where I went wrong
I turn my face against the wall
And hide my tears upon the plaster.
I will tell you the truth another day,
In another life when all is
As it should be and
The paint is wet no longer. 11/23/2005 Posted on 11/23/2005 Copyright © 2024 Tota Longmire
