Honeysuckle Fingers

by Rebecca Lin

I actually have no clue
as to what they are
all talking about.
I never had you
and that's the way
it was supposed to be.

Now what I need
is someone to desire love
just as badly as I do.
Someone out there,
preferably tolerant,
with honeysuckle fingers.

Author's Note: The words just came together and I'm still trying to figer out why I like the title so much.

I stumbled across your POD, and began fingering through your poetry, until this title jumped off the screen and lured me into reading what seems to have been a forgotten gem. No rating, no comments, 8 years later. With that I wanted to say that this is such a small pool of powerful emotions, and I absolutely loved it. Thank you for sharing this.
