Tristan and Iseult (revision) by Stephanie KentDaring red hair cascades
over chalk-white linen,
blatantly interrupting
the stark surface.
Lips more crimson
than the wildfire crown
greet the sun-kissed face
that waits for them.
Two sets of green eyes
carefully keep their
monsters at bay,
to forget all the world;
save their own.
