And they thought the storm was bad

by John D Uzzell

What is going on here? Who is this person saying they are going to do this for me? What is this anyway? How can they do it for me better than I could for myself?

I am a man. I am someone you have to deal with. Thats just the way it is. If its something you can't deal with then don't. Just go home and make yourself useful in another way.
Yes my city got hit, hit hard. That doesn't mean I don't know how to fix it. That doesn't mean I cannot be trusted to do so. We have the best most sought after work force in the nation. We have the most giving people in the world. Don't tell me I am not worthy or able. Leave! We don't want you here. Come back in February, next year and see what WE have done to our home. If you ask right and you act right maybe we will allow you to stay and help.
