[untitled #6] by Joseff Maratdeep sea pacific below
the phoenix sun ascending
red and orange wings
taper up the sky pretending
that there is no shifting life on land
outside the green ocean wave of grass
only inanimate organic life
that feeds on rain and vaporous gas
yet, luminous beings roam
as constant as the wind
up from the ground and out to sea
and once there, never end
to the starry midnight skies
overtaking their own bounds
inhabiting the soft light moon above
a city scape on grey dust mounds 10/27/2005 Author's Note: Umm, I featured the first stanza of this in my journal. Not sure about it, honestly. I was thinking of something different - but had not the mind when I returned. So, this is what happened.
