The World Commited Suicide Long Ago by Jersey D GibsonThe world's got a problem,
feeding on her soul.
Cancer spreading in her,
overpopulation.
Scarred and beaten,
how much can she take?
Cities like horrible acne,
spread throughout.
Dug-in infestations,
she can't weed out.
Burns that can't heal,
nuclear arsenal.
Wounded planet, how are thee,
with thy rampant humans?
We're gutting you out,
sucking you dry.
Can't beat this infection,
can't destroy this disease,
We've gone and wasted you,
untimely demise.
End your pain, end your sorrow,
shake and tremble us all.
The world is planning revenge,
on all the things we've done.

Until then, they'll stick with their starbucks and listen to their ipods and shrug their shoulders just like any other day. |
