10/24/2005 Author's Note: + a man hides a book in a pile in a drawer in a bureau in the corner of his room, in order to escape its meaning. soon he will recognize that his mind can only go where his intellect and his eyes allow. as he stands by a door with no handle waiting for it to open he can't help but question everything. question anything. without warning he hears a voice ask him a question from the other side of the door. the voice is distant and faded but the man knows that he has just been asked if he believes in anything. it takes him a while to answer...
