Dear _________,

it was one of those days,
where you find long lost pictures
and buckets of tears you thought had been replaced

I wanted to scan your face,
cover it with black lines,
and pretend christmas was without you

I'd make a collage
of all the things you misplaced;
if I sent it to you, could you look?

our priorities were always opposite;
you and your drama,
me and my control

I had reasons to believe
you had beliefs to leave;
we never did figure out how to go

I started to rip these things, but
I'm keeping all the pictures;

I'm taking you out
and letting everything be.
