Topic: I Get My Vitamins from Fruit Snacks

It's a front,
a candy-colored coating
that fools you into thinking
the gelatin within is really calcium -
solid, unbreakable.
Self-supporting.
I'm not.
A single, saliva-weighted word
and I disintegrate.
What's left is only a mess
of red-rimmed saltwater
