October 7th 2005 by Jane E PearceToday is dank and dark,
even so, the yellow leaves,
brushing by the windows,
their tenure over,
are in view- nothing new,
reds and golds on display.
.
.Dear God, don't make me disappear-
it's all so beautiful every year. 10/07/2005 Posted on 10/07/2005 Copyright © 2026 Jane E Pearce

| Posted by JD Clay on 10/10/05 at 02:39 AM I am reminded that autumn is the season of change, to shed, to prune, to purge, to cleanse, making way for reprieve, revival, renewal and rebirth. Let the healing begin.
